The Craig Stoller Collection, a unique ensemble of three distinct wine brands, Sextant Wines, Paris Valley Road Estate Winery, and Windemere, is primarily estate-grown and carefully sourced from four main vineyards: 95 acres in El Pomar, 54 acres in the Templeton Gap, 35 acres in Geneseo, and a small 2-acre estate in Willow Creek. Together, The Craig Stoller Collection proudly represents the terroir and breathtaking beauty of the Central Coast.

Job Summary:

We seek a motivated individual to join our team as a vineyard foreman and help cultivate and foster some of the finest vineyard sites across Paso Robles. The Vineyard Foreman collaborates closely with the winemakers and liaises with vendors, laborers, and other company departments by supporting company policies, programs, and practices. This role requires sound judgment to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Position Details:

•  Under management, lead the implementation of all vineyard operations, including planting, pruning, canopy management, harvesting, herbicide and pesticide application, watering schedule, erosion control, etc.
•  Oversee transport of farming equipment and scheduling of operators to perform scheduled tasks.
•  Tracking progress and completion of tasks.
•  General maintenance and upkeep of all vineyard equipment with the assistance of maintenance team
•  Schedule and approve weekly FLC crew timecards
•  Completing and reviewing work orders for all pesticide applications
•  Working closely with PCA and management to ensure all chemical applications are carried out in accordance with safety and calibration standards
•  Working with the accounting department to ensure all vineyard costs are tracked and allocated correctly
•  Coordinate with the maintenance and landscape team to staff FLC to help upkeep all properties.

Qualifications:

•  Strong understating of viticulture
•  Employee management ability
•  5+ years of applicable experience
•  Strong equipment operational skills
•  Extensive chemical application experience
•  A chemical applicator license is a plus
•  Conversational in both English and Spanish
•  Proficient computer skills, including Excel, word, and email correspondence
•  Able to work long hours, including overtime, in a fast-paced environment
•  Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to work closely with other employees
