Job Description:
This role is paramount to the success of our hospitality team, critical in answering the reservations line, responding to guest inquiries, and securing reservations. The expectation is that this individual exudes hospitality, embodies teamwork, and supports the vision of the brand through a “lead by example” work ethic.
Providing a vital role in the day-to-day operations of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, the Estate Concierge will coordinate multiple levels of guest experiences and interactions. A solid working knowledge of our property and guest capacity is crucial in determining how our Hospitality Team will provide a memorable experience and high level of service to our incoming guests.
Job duties and responsibilities:
• Answer phones and emails to facilitate reservations and provide customer support.
• Schedule reservations through Commerce 7 and record detailed guest notes in a guest account to provide an exemplary guest experience.
• Understand guest count limitations based on space, experience, and Commerce 7 formatting.
• Communicate details of guests experiences thoroughly and assist guests with selecting the right experience for them based on their unique preferences.
• Assist with trade reservations upon request.
• Participate in outreach and referral partner programs.
• Print, organize, and build collateral for all experiences offered.
• Support the team and other departments with special events/requests as needed.
• Contribute to and support the vision of a harmonious, team-oriented work environment.
• Convey an atmosphere of luxury hospitality in all guest-facing spaces.
• Graciously welcome guests upon arrival to the Estate.
• Communicate to Estate Ambassadors when their guests have arrived. Seat guests at the assigned table, if needed.
• Adapt gracefully to accommodate early/late appointments adjusting the service requirements for the day if needed.
• Use best judgement to accommodate walk-in guests.
• Set up and break down tables for experiences. Clear dirty glassware throughout service.
• Complete opening and closing duties daily.
• Employ a detailed eye for clean and tidy spaces. Maintain all the spaces in front and back of house.
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
• 3 years of luxury guest service experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and comfortability with phone, reservation and POS systems. Preferably Dialpad and Commerce 7.
• Highly motivated, self-starting, accurate, thorough and detail oriented.
• Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with management, peers, and guests. Adhere to a culture of “yes.”
• Must possess a strong work ethic.
• Must be a person of high integrity and commitment.
• Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.
• Must be enthusiastic with excellent guest service skills, enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing, and positive personality.
• Strong verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.
