DTC Sales & Hospitality Specialist

Job Description:

We are a family-owned winery located on Spring Mountain, known for producing world class Cabernets plus single vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for over 30 years. Our DTC Sales Specialist will be an integral member of the hospitality team and assist with manifold tasks in support of our retail and estate operations.

Barnett Vineyards is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospitality and Sales Associate. This role is integral to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests while driving sales and membership growth. The ideal candidate will embody the values of excellence and exclusivity that define Barnett Vineyards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Host and educate visiting guests and members, providing engaging insights into our history, offerings, and winemaking processes.
•  Process orders and memberships through our POS system, ensuring compliance, accuracy and efficiency.
•  Meet or exceed monthly sales goals through in-person interactions and outbound communications.
•  Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, managing mailing lists, follow-up phone calls, and inventory counts.
•  Support marketing and hospitality events both on-site and off-site, including setup and breakdown of tasting areas.
•  Explore and develop sales opportunities through non-traditional channels such as wine clubs, private events, and corporate partnerships.
•  Secure placements for our wines in corporate and multi-unit settings, collaborating with distributors as needed.
•  Identify growth opportunities to maximize the brand’s potential.
•  Drive sales through outbound calling in addition to on-site and email marketing.
•  Occasionally travel (10%) for market visits, wine dinners, and private client tastings.

Qualifications/Requirements
•  Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury winery sales and hospitality; marketing experience is a plus.
•  Positive, friendly attitude with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•  Foundational wine knowledge, including vineyard practices, production, and global wine context.
•  Detail-oriented and capable of managing changing priorities.
•  Proficiency in e-commerce/CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•  Ability to work Thursday through Monday with flexibility to meet the winery’s needs.
•  Full body mobility: This is an active job where you’ll be expected to walk, stand, kneel, lift, etc. for long periods of time.
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
•  Valid driver’s license.
