Position Title: Region Manager - Central
Position Summary:
The Region Manager (RM) position reports to VP Sales & Operation for the USA and is responsible for managing all sales of the Aveleda portfolio in the Central Region. The RM must effectively develop and maintain positive relationships with wholesalers and brokers in these markets to drive profitable sales performance through programming, responsible pricing, education, and consumer market development tactics. The incumbent is expected to understand and embrace the Guedes family philosophy, passion, and company culture. A premium will be placed on a candidate’s proven track record of effective distributor management, leadership, managing people, and achieving sales plans.
Position Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire Aveleda business in 17 markets to include TX, CO, IL, LA, KS, OK, MN, WI, MI, OH, IA, IN, MO, AR, ND, SD, NE
• Responsible for all State Financials: Budgets, Depletions, Pricing, and Profit Analysis.
• Drive the decision process to meet nationwide objectives and business forecasts. Ensures the entire region operates functionally and profitably.
• Responsible for 80% focus on distributor management and 20% focus on field work.
• Develop market plans and programming with Distributor Partners to ensure Aveleda goals are being met.
• Manage the execution of standards within our Distributor Partners, including holding the distributor accountable to meet goals and implement market plans effectively.
• Build relationships with top key accounts.
• Work closely with National Chain Account Managers at the distributors to ensure national on/off premise strategies are executed.

Qualifications
• 5-10 years of experience of distributor management in the wine/spirits industry
• Outstanding knowledge of the dynamics of the assigned markets
• Thorough understanding of the retail chain segment
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
