ESSENTIAL PURPOSE: Seeking a sales-oriented professional with demonstrated experience driving revenue and managing the professional growth of Tasting Room teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Function as the operational leader for each of the (4) tasting rooms and events program.
Implement and support annual sales goals for (4) Tasting Rooms and Events program.
Ensure each Tasting Room Manager operates according to standards for professionalism and customer service and that company policies and procedures are followed by all staff members.
Collaborate with each tasting room manager to complete month-end inventory of wine and non-wine products.
Establish an atmosphere of teamwork and positive employee relations.
Visit each of the four tasting rooms at minimum two times per week. Rotate works day at each of the four tasting rooms.
Further develop (with Tasting Room Managers and Event Manager) unique, exceptional, and engaging experiences for our guests.
Expand and ensure execution of the current outreach program.
Oversee the education programs offered to tasting room staff (Forbes Training, Responsible Beverage Service, Food Handlers, and internal team training and development)
Schedule new release tastings with winemakers
Full P&L responsibility for all four Tasting Rooms
Business plan development
Case Revenue development
Expenses
Capital Expenditures
Attend quarterly P & L meetings.
Works closely with the Senior DTC Sales Manager to ensure each tasting room meets membership goals.
Work closely with the Marketing Manager providing content for monthly concierge e-blast and event marketing content.

Personnel Management:
Direct management of three Tasting Room Managers + one Event Manager
Event Manager
Ensure P + Ls are prepared before and post-event.
Support event manager with staffing for events
Ensure communication is happening between the Events Sales Manager and tasting room personnel to ensure a seamless event experience occurs.
Take an active role with the staff across four wineries to build employee unity, being a positive example for customer experience.
Evaluate retail employee customer service.
Ensure cross-training of winery hospitality staff.
Work with Tasting Room Managers to coach each tasting room associate.
Evaluate the performance of direct reports on an annual basis.
