Position Overview:
Ambar Estate, the first Regenerative Organic Certified vineyard in the renowned Dundee Hills, is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Part-Time Winery Educator. This role will be responsible for curating memorable guest experiences and educating members and guests on Ambar Estate's and Regenerative Farming while promoting wine club and sales. The candidate should have a high standard for excellence and a passion for hospitality. The Winery Educator reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:
•  Compelling and accurate storytelling of brand, wines, vineyards and people.
•  Educate guests about regenerative organic viticulture practices and Ambar Estate’s unique distinction as Willamette Valley’s First Regenerative Organic Certified® Vineyard.
•  Effective communication and selling of Wine Club and wine.
•  POS transactions and end of day sales summaries.
•  Support of on and offsite events Including setup, breakdown, service and sales.
•  Host duties as needed, including welcoming and seating and managing reservation systems.
•  Bussing duties as needed, including setting and clearing of tables, glass polishing and service station maintenance.

Qualifications:
•  Experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in the wine and/or luxury sector.
•  Sommelier or other wine certifications preferred but not required.
•  Strong understanding and passion for Oregon wine a must.
•  Must be at least 21 years of age.
•  Available to work weekends.
•  OLCC alcohol permit required prior to start of position.
•  Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Anticipated schedule is 2-3 days per week on weekends.
