Sales Account Representative
Territory includes: Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Chelan and surrounding communities, and the Ellensburg/Cle Elum area

Vehrs Distributing is looking to expand our exceptional sales team. The ideal candidate should have substantial wine knowledge and prior experience selling fine wine to both on and off premise accounts. Our sales team works closely together to achieve company goals by sharing our challenges and successes. We are looking for someone who is extremely ambitious, fearless, self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running. The candidate must be 21 years of age or older.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of wine and spirits sales experience preferred
• Manage and develop established territory while prospecting new accounts
• Build strong rapport with account base; cultivate customer relationships
• Proven ability to interact with key accounts and create educational sales presentations for both on and off premise accounts
• Must be goal driven by meeting and exceeding company sales goals
• Ability to manage time, organize, and efficiently run your business
• Capable of working independently and finding solutions for challenges
• Work closely with team by interacting regularly; share successes and obstacles
• Display superb communication skills; identify customer needs
• Determination to win; ability to close
• Knowledge of high-profile key accounts in the designated areas is preferred.
• Essential computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
• Must pass a drug and physical abilities test (lifting 50 pounds), able to walk, bend, kneel, and reach
• Valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance, clean driving record and reliable transportation
Sales Representative Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship management: build and maintain strong relationships with all accounts in the assigned territory with responsibilities to include:
• Off-Premise Accounts: achieving increased points of distribution across important company brands, ensuring appropriate shelf placement and displays in key accounts, special tasting promotions for supplier partners, and educational seminars where applicable.
• Maintain store shelves to make sure all product is sellable, maintain and fill wine cold boxes, and pull up displays to ensure product is available for sale.
• Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with available product, communicate low inventory levels to the store manager and order entry personnel.
• On-Premise Accounts: build and maintain wine by the glass (BTG) programs, present and maintain wine list placements, special presentations for brands within our portfolio that are aligned with account promotions.
• Schedule and conduct special tasting events that drive incremental business for key accounts to include Specialty Wine Shops and their Wine Club News Letter members, Country Clubs, Restaurant Wine Maker Dinners and other special events that drive incremental sales.
• Knowledge of new account opening and coordinating presentations for the company portfolio.
• Enhance revenue growth across all business channels in alignment with the corporate annual forecast and territory expectations.
• Maintain quality results by following and enforcing company and account standards.
• Maintain superior customer relations and communicate with customers in a positive manner
