Job Description:

We are looking for an organized, self-motivated, results-driven individual to lead our hospitality team at our busy tasting room in the heart of the Dundee Hills. We are in search of a driven self-starter with energy and skilled in achieving through others and creating a team environment.

This role is intended to be customer-facing, modeling the best practices for his/her sales team on-site at the Rambouillet Estate vineyard for daily guests and for private clients via appointment-only experiences.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Achievement |Lead our hospitality achievement culture to help grow our core business objectives to:

Grow and retain club membership.

Grow tasting room volume and revenue.

Implement elevated tours and tastings, spanning our estate property.

Lead the execution of seasonal, on-site and off-site events.

Provide and infectious brand of hospitality that encourages return visits


Leadership | Provide consistent team leadership to deliver the company’s goals for club conversions, wine volume sales & collection of contact data information through our Tasting Room in accord with our Annual Plans.

Create a one-of-a-kind culture that attracts, inspires & supports a team of creative individuals to ensure a vibrant, energetic work environment.

Provide a tireless, thoughtful, infectious brand of hospitality for all guests.

Provide the highest level of fine-wine, guest services & luxury, educational programming in keeping with current consumer trends, demographics and attitudes.



Gatekeeper Networking | developing target hospitality account lists with select, local gatekeepers maintaining relationships with hospitality, tour and hotel partners.

Modeling | Exhibit model behavior, providing an infectious brand of hospitality and the highest level of customer service in educational programming across all guest interactions (online and in-person).



EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE

Reporting | Facilitate and distribute weekly sales reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Tasting Room sales.

Communications | Maintain excellence in all internal and external communications, with club members, guest and hospitality stakeholders.

Advocacy | Maintain a consistent presence in the community to build the reputation and desirability of our wines to make this the place to visit, join and belong.

Presence | hosting daily guests, club members, VIPs and community partners to support the brand.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of professional relevant, experience including a proven track record in sales and/or hospitality.

Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, communications, marketing, or finance, or commensurate work experience and success.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Skilled and knowledgeable in interpersonal relationship development.

Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.

Team Player with a Strong work ethic.

Team leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to set, prioritize and manage a strategic agenda

Proven ability to create an achievement culture that shares and incorporates best practices with all team members to grow the business.

Proven verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Skilled at collaboration and achieving through partnership and team play.

Strategically-oriented, thought leadership with innate curiosity to learn & grow.

Teacher mentality that develops team members for promotion opportunity

Ability to build an inclusive model for team engagement that champions diversity and coaches and empowers others.


KNOWLEDGE BASE

Understanding of the local wine business, its history and contexts

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with CRM, CMS, and POS systems.

Familiarity with state shipping compliance landscape.

Comprehension of best practices for DTC wine sales.
