Alexana Estate is creating a role for a talented and passionate sales professional who can inspire and build meaningful client relationships with charm, grace, and authenticity.

Our team is a dynamic global portfolio of Estate wineries (Alexana Estate – Willamette Valley, Revana Estate – Napa Valley, and Bodega Corazón del Sol - Argentina) looking for someone eager to help lead a high-level DTC sales program with immediate access to develop and execute key strategic decisions within one of the top luxury wine Estates in the Willamette Valley.

This role is one of the primary client-facing roles for Alexana Estate across all DTC sales channels. Key responsibilities will be at the center of setting strategic vision and execution of continued growth for Alexana Estate into one of Oregon’s most respected luxury hospitality, membership, and sales programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outreach & Networking:

- Execute outreach/networking strategy to drive traffic (on-site & digital platforms), increase
visitation and form strategic partnerships that will increase DTC and Wholesale revenues.

- Collaborate with Hospitality and Sales teams to network and develop mutual collaboration and
referral programs with similarly positioned hotels, restaurants, wineries, and transportation
providers to drive traffic.

- Create, capture, and leverage customer information for follow-up sales programs (from pre-visit to
Shipment follow-up and touch points throughout the “client journey”.

- Business Partnerships: Research and cultivate high-level B2B partnerships (local, regional and
National) that can expand the company’s opportunities in DTC along with outside sales.

2. Sales & Internal Marketing

A. Outbound Sales Campaigns (Red Chirp, Phone & Email)

- Brainstorm and implement data-driven, creative ideas to increase sales by developing subscription
programs, loyalty initiatives, retention strategies, new sales opportunities, Wine Club benefits, and
special promotions and events.

- Create and monitor email and outbound sales campaigns with unique offers to the existing
mailing/client list which coincides with vintage releases, seasonal changes, and other
events/happenings at Alexana Estate.

- Collaborate with membership, winemaking/viticulture, management, hospitality/events and
ownership to develop and execute successful direct marketing and email campaigns with a focus on
conversions and engagement.

- Collaborate with the team to create a reporting structure for individual campaigns (clients engaged,
conversion %, cases sold, revenue generated, etc.

B. Client Management

- In-house consumer database: Leverage and grow our client database, while collaborating with sales and wine club managers on e-mail marketing campaigns to generate additional revenue streams.

- Collaborate with the Director of Hospitality to execute meaningful touchpoints within the defined “Client Journey” to increase engagement, referrals, and sales/membership conversions.

C. Website

•  Monitoring Website traffic and updating content as needed to maintain a fresh digital presence.

3. External Marketing:

•  Create and curate (utilize team resources and members) Social Media content with emphasis on
driving overall recognition and connection with Alexana Estate and drive visitation.

•  Driving Mailing list sign-ups through multiple channels – Social, Direct Sign-Ups, etc.

•  Research Social Media Influencers and create partnerships/relationships.

•  Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

•  Develop, rollout and manage DTC programs designed to meet the goals for Wine Club, Tasting
Room, and Events

4. Event and Hospitality Marketing Support

- On-Site Event Program: Channel business partnerships and opportunities to Director of Events
and hospitality team to promote and increase event program notoriety and overall revenue goals.

- Off-Site Event Program: Channel business partnerships and opportunities to National Sales Team
and Management to expand opportunities and revenue goals for In-Home Tastings, Private
Dinners, Live Auction Events, etc.

- VIP Hospitality Support: Collaborate with team on occasional client and event support (on and
off-site).

Other Responsibilities as required – We are a small team and your skillset is well-positioned to help our entire team grow and improve our daily operations.

PREREQUISITES:
- Extensive experience in luxury wine sales and hospitality
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the wine industry.
- Strong understanding of the wine market, industry trends, and consumer preferences.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in building wine club programs and executing sales and marketing plans
to achieve a high level of club growth and retention.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Must be highly self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours (mornings and evenings) when required.
