Lange Winery is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, outgoing Hospitality Associate to represent our brand, our wine, and our culture. The ideal candidate will provide spirited and exceptional Hospitality for our club members, guests, industry friends, and trade partners. They will also educate guests on the unique qualities of our wines, history, philanthropy, and culture.

A hospitality heart coupled with strong sales talent is a must, as is a sense of humor and commitment to teamwork. We invite you to join our team of passionate, hard-working individuals who love what we do and are proud to be a part of one of the Heritage Estate wineries in the Willamette Valley. Our Dundee tasting room is open every day from 10 am – 4 pm, with occasional evening events. This is a part-time position. Weekend availability is required.

Duties/Responsibilities

Represent our brand professionally, graciously, and enthusiastically
Provide education about each of our wines, wine tasting practices, winemaking techniques, and winery/winemaker history
Invite all visitors to join our wine club and share news of our upcoming events
Handle routine point-of-sale operations
Daily inventory and stocking of wine and supplies
Shipping support including packing orders
Attend and help at special events on and off premise
Complete routine housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and property
Undertake various hospitality duties such as VIP hosting, assisting with club and private events, and conducting private tasting programs, including private tour and tastings
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager
Qualifications

Requires a knowledge of and passion for wine that can be communicated to our guests
Proven abilities in sales, customer service and confident and friendly interaction with the diverse public
Professional appearance and demeanor
Outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
High energy and ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
Familiarity with the operation of POS systems
Wine Direct or comparable POS experience a plus and Tock experience a plus
Strong computer proficiency
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with little direction
Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to work weekends and occasional evenings and holidays
Must be at least 21 years of age
OLCC pourers license is required
COVID-19 Vaccine is strongly recommended
