Job Description:

Situated deep in the heart of the rolling hills of Napa Valley’s Carneros District, Hudson Napa Valley has been growing grapes for exceptional winemakers for over 35 years, and today crafts Hudson wines from select parcels on our 2,000-acre estate. We are seeking a full-time Hospitality Manager to join us on-property Tuesday thru Sunday to take full care of guests, clients and trade visitors at our state-of-the-art winery and by-appointment hospitality terrace overlooking our vineyards. Skills, Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Hospitality
•  Work with team to build outreach efforts and referral partnerships with comparable resorts, wineries and other sources.
•  Engage strong business development skills to build lasting relationships with referral partners. This may include regional travel through the greater Bay Area for onsite visits.
•  Implement and improve existing sales techniques and continually grow and improve selling skills.
•  Mentor and train hospitality team to maximize sales and collaboration
•  Provide high quality customer interactions via phone, email and in person.
•  Manage tasting room and housekeeping/ scullery schedules
•  Act as guest concierge while on site as well as guiding and assisting them with their plans while visiting.
•  Manage new Ambassadors as they are hired


Sales
•  Quickly acquire a thorough understanding of the Hudson wines, olive oil and ranch story to effectively communicate and sell to customers.
•  Host onsite tastings.
•  Support DTC and wholesale data tracking, recordkeeping and project-based tasks.
•  Pack wine orders
•  Active management of logistics and compliance as needed
•  Support with execution and management of member releases as led by DTC and Marketing Director

Events and Hospitality
•  Provide occasional support for onsite events, including but not limited to set up, take down, pouring wines, greeting guests and assisting as needed.

•  Schedule: TBD
•  Occasional overtime and evenings required.
•  On-site position only, remote work not available.
•  Review: Employee is eligible for annual reviews.

Benefits
•  One week of sick time after 90 days of employment
•  After 12 months of employment employee will be eligible to enroll in the Company 401k plan.
•  Health insurance for you as the employee, with a $550 monthly contribution to a plan.
•  Ten paid company holidays per year. Make-up holidays will be granted when the Hospitality Center is open during a scheduled holiday, or when a holiday falls on a scheduled day off.
•  Two weeks paid vacation per year.
•  Employee is reimbursed for company related use of their cell phone; current rate is $40/month.
•  Employee will be provided with a workspace as well as a company issued computer.
Timekeeping: Employee will be required to maintain an exemption only timecard, recording time spent away from work, such as vacation and sick time.
