Longoria Wines is looking for a Tasting RoomAssociate for our newly opened tasting room on State Street in Santa Barbara. Our winemaking philosophy is centered around sourcing from top vineyards across the Santa Ynez Valley to create exquisite, small-lot wines that most often express a single varietal from a single locale. As the winery celebrates its 40th year, we are looking to add a leader to our hospitality team who is devoted to providing our guests with an elevated, personal, and memorable experience with each tasting as well as oversee the day-today operations of the Tasting Room.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Tasting Room as well as the future and improvements of the tasting room itself.
Provide guests with an elevated wine tasting experience–meaningful and personal interactions are just as important as presenting the details of each wine along with educating guests on the history and general winemaking philosophy of the winery
Promote and sell wine and wine club offerings to achieve sales goals
Accurately and carefully operate the POS system/handle cash
Participate in team meetings, educational tastings, and other company events

Requirements:
Minimum 21 years of age
Proficiency in Commerce7
Direct-to-Consumer wine and hospitality experience
Ability to multitask and attend to several guests without sacrificing the quality of experience
Positive, self-starter attitude, dynamic and adaptable to new challenges with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to repeatedly lift over 40 pounds and be on your feet for long periods
Availability to work 30 hours/week, and work weekends and holidays
