Job Description:

Thomas Fogarty Winery and Vineyards is a family-owned estate that grows and produces wines in the Northern end of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA. Located at 2,000 ft elevation off Skyline Boulevard in Woodside, the Fogarty Family first planted Chardonnay in 1978.

The Wine Club and E-Commerce Manager will nurture long lasting relationships with our members and drive innovative programs focused on retaining existing members and acquiring new ones. They will also create, implement, and manage online sales using targeted email marketing strategies.

As part of our small team within our Direct-To-Consumer program, this core position is integral to help shape, grow, and manage our boutique winery.

Wine Club Responsibilities:
Plan and execute quarterly wine club releases including overseeing shipping logistics management
Identify opportunities to grow existing membership program
Communicate with hospitality staff on the current and upcoming wine club releases, addressing policies, procedures, & protocols
Host exclusive wine club events throughout the year
Manage our Club Management Software/CRM and ShipCompliant
Communicate with Club members and guests in a timely, professional manner
Create wine release notes (collateral) and contribute to quarterly newsletter

E-Commerce Responsibilities:
Create, execute, and manage online sales campaigns on a regular basis
Interpret and analyze metrics of past sales campaigns to improve future outcomes
Update all website information, online offers, and maintain product SKUs

Experience:
Knowledge of wine growing, producing, and selling
Minimum 3 years managing a wine membership and/or allocation list using Wine Direct or similar software
Proven track record of high-level customer service engagements

General Skills:
Ability to organize and supervise large scale consumer events
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
Creative problem solver that excels in high pressure environments
Strong leadership, team building, and consumer engagement skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
WSET or sommelier certification desirable

Technology skills:
Wine Direct or similar wine club management/CRM software
Mailchimp or similar email marketing software
WordPress and basic HTML preferred
Tock or similar reservation software
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Nav and Adobe Suite are each highly desirable
Knowledge of ShipCompliant is recommended

Requirements:
Ability to lift 45 pounds (a case of wine)
Stand for up to 6 hours
Reliable transportation (no public transport up here)
Weekend availability
