Estate Ambassador

Job Description:

This position is a key member of the Hospitality team in the tasting room. The primary role is to provide an educational, engaging, and high-end experience for all guests and members. The goal for this position is to build and sustain relationships with guests, achieve sales goals, and acquire new members. This position requires that the individual embodies teamwork and supports the vision of the brand through a “lead by example” work ethic.

Job Duties:

Convey an atmosphere of luxury hospitality in all guest-facing spaces.

Host exemplary experiences for guests and members that are thoughtful, engaging, and memorable.

Relay in-depth wine knowledge and brand history to guests in an authentic, genuine, non-pretentious manner.

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and acquire new members.

Graciously keep guest experiences on schedule while managing multiple groups at a time.

Set up and break down tables for experience (clear dirty glassware, sanitize tables, ensure glassware is polished, collateral is neatly displayed).

Anticipate confirmed reservations and walk-in guests by promptly welcoming guests and being prepared for the experience.

Use professional and courteous communication with guests and members.

Skillfully maintain accurate and detailed guests notes in CRM/POS platform and tailor the guests experience based on personal preferences.

Build and maintain relationships with guests and members through email and phone communication.

Print, organize, and build collateral for various experiences.

Support the team and other departments with special events/requests as needed.

Complete opening and closing duties daily and other weekly and monthly duties assigned.

Employ a detailed eye for clean and tidy spaces. Maintain all spaces in front and back of house.

Contribute to and support the vision of a harmonious, team-oriented work environment.

Other duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:

3 years of luxury guest service experience preferred

Proficient computer skills and comfort with phone, reservation and POS systems.

Highly motivated, self-starting, accurate, thorough and detail-oriented.

Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with management, peers, and guests. Adhere to a culture of “yes.”

Must possess a strong work ethic Must be a person of high integrity and commitment. Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.

Must be enthusiastic with excellent guest service skills, enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing, and positive personality.

Strong verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.

Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for a prolonged period.

Ability to work weekends.


Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position. Competitive compensation depending on experience plus benefits including medical/dental insurance, paid vacation, and sick leave.
