Key Responsibilities:
•  Coordinate the planning, marketing, and execution of all events at our Oregon tasting room locations, ranging from intimate gatherings to grand weddings.
•  Provide exceptional customer service, promote Lachini wines, and facilitate wine club memberships in the tasting room.
•  Assist with day-to-day tasting room operations, including taking a section serving guests, processing sales orders, signing up wine club members and ensuring cleanliness.
•  Develop event marketing strategies to boost attendance and engagement.
•  Collaborate with vendors, wedding planners, and our chef to oversee event logistics, and troubleshoot any issues during events or tasting room operations.
•  Maintain detailed event records and conduct site visits with clients.
•  Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote event services and cultivate relationships with industry partners for business growth and event referrals.
•  Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to promptly respond to customer inquiries, coupled with a strong drive to secure event bookings through diligent follow-up.

Qualifications:
•  2-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on event coordination, is required.
•  Minimum requirement: Associate’s degree
•  Experience in fine dining or catering preferred.
•  Ability to obtain a valid OLCC license and Oregon Food Handler’s card.
•  Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively present information to clients and team members.
•  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required in a fast-paced environment.
•  Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed to oversee events and accommodate guest needs.
•  Must have reliable transportation to commute between our tasting room locations and the greater Willamette Valley and Portland area. Additionally, the role may require travel to other destinations for job-related visits, such as industry partners or other companies.
•  Proficiency in various computer applications and platforms, including point-of-sale systems, with the ability to quickly learn and excel in new software. Experience with Orderport preferred.
•  Demonstrated ability to adapt and pivot quickly, especially during the initial six months where flexibility and agility are essential.

Compensation:
$50,000 - $65,000+ per year. Salary + bonus + gratuity opportunities. Based on experience and performance.
