We are looking for full-time and part-time Tasting Room Sales Associates, Hosts, and Support Staff (dishwasher) who have a heart for hospitality, love to be with people, are customer service-oriented, and want to be part of providing an excellent experience to every guest in our Tasting Room. If you have a natural talent for serving people, we can teach you about wine!
TR Associate:
• Engaging customers with knowledge of Sokol Blosser brands and products through our story
• Providing a high level of hospitality and customer service while serving guests on-site
• Actively pursuing and achieving team and individual sales goals
• Hosting guest tours and private tastings if needed
Host:
• Portraying the winery’s image in the presentation of an exceptional customer experience.
• Setting the tone for an excellent customer experience and hospitality within the Tasting Room.
• Resolving customer concerns quickly and proactively.
• Promptly answering phones in a professional manner.
• Keeping the reservation system straight and orchestrating the daily flow of the tasting room.
• Maintaining a clean environment and helping with the ongoing cleanup of the tasting room.
Support Staff:
• Clean all dishes, bottles and glassware.
• Clear and sanitize tables, surfaces and furniture after a guests leave.
• Keep water bottles filled.
• Scrub and polish tasting bottles and glassware to ensure they are in their best condition.
• Ensure tasting areas are clean and presentable.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked throughout the shift.
• Help keep property and work areas clean.
• Floor care; sweeping and mopping floor.
• Closing duties to include ensure all items in the support kitchen are cleaned, polished and put away.
• Empty all trash and recycling as needed; removed from building and placed in the dumpster prior to departing.
• Assist in set up and take down of winery events including chairs, tables, service ware, tents, etc.
• Fulfill wine purchase orders and assist guest with carrying their purchases to their vehicle.
• Help with food preparation when necessary.

• Passion for delivery of hospitality experiences in wine, retail, restaurant, etc.
• An interest about wine and the wine/food lifestyle
• Working knowledge or wants to learn about Oregon wines
• Skills to work well in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and communication skills
• Creative thinking skills and can think outside the box
• Ability to lift and carry 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist and move for long periods of time
• Ability to obtain an OLCC server’s permit and food handler’s card
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings throughout the year

About:
• Team environment, robust benefit package and competitive pay
• The position is hourly; days are variable and full time is 32+ hours a week/4-5 day work week variable schedule
• Base hourly pay plus tips, commissions and gratuities can make up to $19-$23 per hour; varies per position
