What We Are Looking For:
An experienced wines sales representative with **a minimum of 5 years experience** selling to wine shops and restaurants in New York City. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, a true team-player, organized, and hard-working. This position requires that you are actively selling to, and have developed relationships with, many high-volume on and off-premise accounts in New York City. We are looking for someone who is experienced and comfortable selling and presenting wines to a wide variety of accounts from Michelin star restaurants to the local bottle shop. We preach “wine without pretention” and we are looking for someone who has broad and deep knowledge of wine but is also passionate and patient with those who know far less. For this position, being a team player means that you will need to roll up your sleeves and occasionally help out other team members with less experience and/or wine knowledge than you. We believe that we were able to grow this company because in addition to great wine we offered our clients excellent customer service, and as such we expect our new hire to go above and beyond for our customers. In short, we expect you to be polished, punctual, serious, and a true wine professional.
