As an integral part of the Wine and Grape Supply (W&GS) team, you will engage with management and cross-functional teams to deeply understand our wine and grape supply position. You'll play a critical role in synthesizing this information to provide strategic insights. Your efforts will primarily focus on leveraging data analytics and upholding the highest standards of data management to inform decision-making and optimize business operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting on supply and demand for grape-supplied businesses.

•  Manage and maintain extensive data sets, including the W&GS data warehouse, for robust analysis and strategic recommendations.

•  Design and refine data connections, queries, reports, and dashboards outside of enterprise systems (e.g., Excel).

•  Employ analytical methods and tools to interpret complex data, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.

•  Monitor industry trends and internal metrics to anticipate both immediate and long-term business needs.

•  Contribute to the development of the company's wine and grape supply strategy.

•  Collaborate in reviewing and improving departmental procedures and performance metrics, aligning them with business objectives.

•  Drive process enhancements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing data-driven solutions, contributing to ongoing business optimization.

•  Work with diverse teams across the organization to consolidate information, develop cohesive strategies, and ensure successful project execution.

•  Liaise with IT and other technical departments to define business requirements for data integration and reporting.

•  Develop and maintain analytical tools and frameworks to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

•  Stay abreast of technological advancements, adopting new tools and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities and workflow efficiency.

•  Assist in integrating new system tools into the W&GS team’s workflow.

•  Conduct special financial and business studies as required.

•  Uphold satisfactory attendance, including timeliness.

•  Understand and comply with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics; or bachelor’s degree in relevant fields plus 1 year of experience; or High school diploma plus 6 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in writing and debugging SQL queries.
Demonstrated experience in data management and analysis, with a clear understanding of data structures and database concepts.
Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for onboarding, training, meetings, and events.

Preferred Qualifications:
•  Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields plus 2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics.

•  Experience with BI tools and dashboard development (MicroStrategy, PowerBI, or Tableau).

•  Familiarity with database platforms and management tools.

•  Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply mathematical concepts and complex problem-solving strategies effectively.

•  Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•  Conflict resolution skills.

•  Adaptable to unexpected changes and a strong team player.
