Rusack Vineyards is a boutique winery located in Solvang, California dedicated to producing world-class wines. We are searching for an enthusiastic harvest intern to be involved in all aspects of premium winemaking. The right candidate will be willing to work in a fast-paced environment, that will including some weekends. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the best grapes that Santa Barbara County and Catalina Island have to offer.

Our ideal candidate will:
- Have a desire to begin a career in the wine industry- previous harvest experience desired but not required.
- Have some knowledge of chemistry, food science, viticulture, enology, or a related field
- Possess a strong work ethic, and be willing to work long hours both outside and in a cellar environment
- Possess good communication skills
- Be able to prioritize, and reprioritize daily duties based on an ever-changing harvest schedule
- Be willing to get dirty: sorting grapes, cleaning tanks/barrels/equipment, punch-downs, fermentation analysis…etc.
- Be detail oriented and organized
- Be task oriented- ensuring timely and accurate completion of written work orders and verbal instructions
- Be able to stand for long periods and lift approximately 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Learn from more experienced members of the harvest crew
