We only import the best Champagnes in the world from small producers in Champagne, France. We sell directly to consumers all over the USA via our website, our quarterly club shipments, and our Seattle tasting room. You will be working with a fun-loving, super creative, and energetic team. Position Description:

This role would oversee our Seattle tasting room and outside events. We imagine this person taking our tastings on the road; hosting events and member tastings in various cities, as well as local collaborations outside of our Seattle cave. For the right person, this is a dream job. Fatcork is poised for tremendous growth over the next three years and we want this person to grow with the company.



General Job Duties to Include:

Seattle tasting room and event operations
Performing opening and closing duties
Retail sales
Pouring Champagne at our Saturday tastings and other events
Helping customers pick out the perfect bottles
Processing customer orders
Assisting with large deliveries of Champagne
Completing general merchandising maintenance (e.g., restocking the cave, creating displays and taking inventory)
Promoting our Champagne club and email list sign-ups
Taking the tasting room on the road for partnership tastings, collaborations and city specific tours.
Helping fulfill Champagne orders (e.g., preparing and packing club shipments, communicating with customers and packing boxes)
Performing general office and warehouse tasks as needed (e.g., talking on the phone and frequent cleaning and tidying up)



Position Requirements:

Nothing is more important than a good work attitude
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
At least two years of customer service or sales experience with references
Proven workplace-based evidence of professionalism, flexibility, punctuality and a friendly, easy-going, good-natured disposition
The ability to repeatedly lift cases of Champagne (sometimes over your head) that weigh up to 50 pounds
Computer proficiency
At least some basic wine knowledge (though this is the least important quality on the list)



Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

This position reports to fatcork general manager Iza Feyeux
This is a full-time, salaried position with the expectation of working 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday
Compensation for this position is dependent on the experience of the candidate
Healthcare plan available after 90 days of employment
Four complimentary bottles of fatcork Champagne every month as well as opportunities to buy Champagne at wholesale cost
We provide company-paid ORCA transportation, partial cell phone reimbursement and other goodies
