I have 100 used Chardonnay barrels. 70 percent are 2 year once filled the rest are twice fill with a couple 3 fills.

You pick them up. Narrow road. No 40 ft semi. Bobtail or 28ft tractor trailer OK.
Just emptied and washed with the water jet. This is the standard treatment that we use. I just wash again before filling.
