Used Whiskey and Bourbon barrels.

Old, weathered, stored outside. They definitely will leak. Some have dropped hoops. Some have spent more time indoors and are going to be closer to useable condition. These might be better suited for planters or for decoration. But if you really wanted to have whiskey barrels for aging your wine, you could probably get a lot of them to seal up with plenty of water and patience. Maybe leave them outside during the next big rain storm to get them nice and soaked.
Most will come with solid oak 6-barrel racks, which might be worth more than the barrels. I have used these barrel racks as tank platforms. Very sturdy and substantial.
Willing to make a very good deal for truck-load quantities.
