Renowned estate vineyard located 15 miles southeast of Willcox, Arizona, on the Willcox Bench where the high desert rises toward the Dos Cabezas Mountains. Rolling View Vineyard combines location, reputation, performance, capacity, and expansion capability into one of Arizona wine country’s premiere production assets.
Meticulously managed for world-class fruit quality in the heart of the Willcox AVA, Rolling View Vineyard has supplied Arizona’s Bodega Pierce Winery and Saeculum Cellars’ award-winning wine making operation since 2011. Other top Arizona winemakers have sourced its most sought-after varietals for their labels as well.
The Willcox AVA hosts three-fourths of the state’s wine grape production and boasts a growing wine tourism industry. The vineyard and tasting room are conveniently located among the most visible and easily accessible stops along on the Willcox Wine Country tour route. Wines made exclusively from Rolling View’s 18 varietals demonstrate consistency and quality year after year; winning “Arizona’s Best” across multiple categories while also garnering repeat gold and double gold awards in the state’s most widely recognized rankings and competitions.
The Vineyard — Consists of 32.5 total acres, including 27.25 acres planted in eight vineyard blocks with an estimated 12,450 vines ranging in age from 4 to 16 years. A total of 18 separate Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Spanish and Italian varietals are represented. Between 2,000 and 2,500 new and/or replacement vines were planted at the beginning of the 2022 season. Two irrigation wells, including a new 1,000' production well completed June 2022 provide abundant irrigating capacity supportive of current operations as well as future expansion. The vineyard’s 32.5 acres (27.25 acres planted with an additional 5.25 plant-able) comprise the entire southeastern portion of the overall 78.5 acre property.
Building Improvements — A set of scalable building improvements compliment the vineyard including a versatile 3,000 s.f. service building of I-beam construction incorporating insulated walls and a concrete floor, metal-sided with a metal roof. Within the building’s footprint, a 13’x25’ Tasting Room comprises approximately 325 s.f. of finished space with commercial grade fixtures. An outdoor patio covered by an 1,125 s.f. awning completes this structure. The nearby manager’s residence consists of +/- 2,015 s.f. inclusive of cold-room storage. A separate domestic well serves these improvements situated on two acres within the larger 78.5 acre property.
