Nearly 30-year-old Wente Chardonnay available from a mature Sonoma Valley block planted on 3309C rootstock. Deep root systems and wide 12' × 7' spacing deliver exceptional terroir expression, richness and balance. The fruit produces textured wines with ripe pear, citrus, stone fruit and mineral complexity, while retaining natural acidity and freshness. Ideally suited for barrel fermentation, bâtonnage and extended sur lie aging, with the depth for premium Chardonnay programs.
