Family farmed and CCOF certified organic. Vineyard planted in 2001 in Merlot. 3.5 acres grafted to Durif clone FPS 03 in 2017. Grapes have been bottled in vineyard designate program. Vineyard sits at 1416 feet elevation on the edge of the Kelsey Bench - Lake County on Forbesville Loam deep well-drained soil. High elevation produces grapes with thick skins and rich flavors. Ripens in late September to mid-October. Hand harvested.
