Cabernet Franc from the eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley, where warm temperatures and rocky foothill soils produce small clusters with concentrated flavor. Hand-harvested, and fermented for 21 days on the skins with 20% whole cluster inclusion. Aged in French oak barrels.
Notes of forest floor, and bell pepper followed by a juicy palate with layered dark chocolate and blue fruit flavors, finishing firm and round. Well-suited for blending programs or a standalone bottling.
