2024 Syrah - Willow Creek District - $20/ gallon - 84 gallons
15.5% ABV, 3.9 pH, 4.5 g/L TA
This Syrah is surplus after blending and a mixture of clones including 40% clone 470, with the remainder a blend of clones Estrella, Alban 1, and 877. It has been stored in one 320L barrel and FSO2 maintained around 30ppm. The wine is Medium + bodied and part of the blend saw some new oak before combining. It has plush tannins, great fruit, earthy and savory notes, and some sweet barrel spice.
