Sauvignon Blanc grapes are from a small Family owned vineyard, located in a private Feliz Creek Valley, near Hopland Ca. The vineyard is planted with a not often found 26% Clone 28 ( Italian cone R3) This clone is used in the finer Sauvignon Blanc wines of Northeastern Italy. Clone R-3 is extremely pungent with a distinct mineral intensity.The remaining block is the very popular French clone 1.1. The combination of clones adds a wonderful complexity to the wine and stands out from other SB wine
