Rutherford CCOF,ROC,Biodynamic certified Agiorgitiko - the most widely planted red grape in Greece. Traditionally grown in the region of Nemea on the southern peninsula. Wine made from this grape is referred to as "The Blood of Hercules", as legend states he drank it after slaying the Nemean Lion. Spicy notes of plum, nice fruity characteristics, good coloring, & low acidity. Often made as a varietal but can be blended with cabernet sauvignon. Most likely the only planting in Northern California
