The vineyard is located south of Highway 128 in the hills between Knights Valley and Franz Valley about a mile west of Napa/Sonoma County line. Elevation 700- 800 feet.
The grapes produce rich intensively flavored wines. Several vintages have won awards in competitions throughout California,
Grapes are planted with 9' by 5' spacing on VSP with drip irrigation. Clusters are a little smaller than other Zin clones. Average yield 3.5 tons per acre. 4 ton minimum purchase.
