Premium merlot grapes from the SeVein Hillside on the Oregon side of the Walla Walla Valley at 1,250 ft in elevation. The north facing slope catches a fair amount of wind, creating smaller berries and thicker skins to intensify the flavors. Neighboring estate vineyards include Leonetti, Doubleback's McQueen Vineyard and L'Ecole's Ferguson Vineyard. Loess soils over fractured basalt. 2-ton minimum purchase preferred.
