This 2023 Yountville AVA (possible vineyard designation) blend is a modern Bordeaux-style wine that combines the power and depth of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon with the plushness of 47% Merlot and the aromatic lift of 2% Malbec. It is deep, inky purple with a vibrant violet rim, signaling youthful intensity and concentration. There are layers of ripe blackberry, boysenberry paste, and dark plum, accented by notes of lavender oil and purple lilac. To be bottled in June, we can apply labels after.
