Our grapes are sourced from Mariola Ridge Vineyard, a steep, cool, hillside site located outside of Sebastopol, in the Sonoma Coast AVA.
Grapes are hand harvested at night, 100% whole cluster, gently pressed, cold-settled, racked for fermentation in 50% new, primarily François Frères French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation in barrel, aged sur lie with bâtonage for ~ 6 months (as of April 2025).
Past bottling have consistently scored 91 points and above on Wine Enthusiast and Decanter.
