Old Wagon Road Vineyards is located on the western edge of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA in the foot hills of the coastal range. The vineyard is professionally managed and is the source for the estate fruit from Chris James Cellars. The vineyard is primarily volcanic soils (Saum/Jory series). The vines were primarily planted in 2013. Rootstock is a mix of Riperia and 101-14.
