Description:

The Pillsbury Vineyard is on the Slopes and Bench land of West Dry Creek Rd. The block at the highest point of the vineyard yields 5 tons from head-trained 60 year old vines. The steepest slopes of the ranch host a field blend of head-trained vines with 75% Zin, 10% Carginane, 10% Petite Sirah, 5% Viognier and 5% Alicante Bouschet. (10-12 tons). The trellised cordon trained vines at the bottom of the vineyard can carry up to 15 tons. The whole vineyard has been dry farmed for 10 years now.
