Out Pinot is planted in well-drained alluvial soil, primarily Manita loam and Debenger-Brader loam. Meticulous leafing and 40 degree diurnal temperature swings make for great flavor and acid retention. About half is LIVE certified, but all blocks are farmed to LIVE's sustainable standards.
