Harvest Intern

We are looking for a couple interns to complete our 2026 Harvest Team!

Dutton-Goldfield produces terroir-driven wines using fruit selected from Dutton Ranch Russian River vineyards, as well as other cool coastal sites in Northern California spanning from Marin to Mendocino County.

Our winery is located between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. We also provide custom crush services, so you will have the opportunity to work with a handful of other varietals and learn other winemaking styles.

We are looking for motivated and eager candidates, both local and international, who would like to be involved in all aspects of harvest, including but not limited to processing fruit, fermentation management, inoculations and additions, barrel work, cleaning and sanitization, and forklift operation.

Qualified candidates will possess an eagerness to learn, passion for wine, and strong work ethic. 1-2 harvests are preferred. Forklift skills are highly desired. Ability to work independently and pay attention to detail.

Projected start and end dates are early August to beginning/mid November, but dependent on the season. During harvest we work 10-12 hour days, 6 days a week and provide weekly harvest lunches and snacks. Compensation is $22/hour.

We offer cellar and lab internships. Please indicate which internship you are interested in applying for.

Physical Requirements:
•  Must be able to climb stairs and work at heights
•  Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and work standing up on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time
•  Must be able to work in cold, damp and dark cellar environment
•  Must be able to work up to 6 days per week, 12 hour days during harvest.
