2026 Harvest Cellar Hand

Revana Family Vineyard

St. Helena, CA

Apply

Job Description:

Revana Estate is seeking harvest cellar hands to join us for the 2026 harvest! This seasonal position is expected to begin in August and continue through early November (exact dates growing season dependent).

We’re looking for candidates who are positive, energetic, dependable, and motivated to work hard while learning in a collaborative, hands-on environment. While prior harvest experience is preferred, we encourage applicants who are new to winemaking and eager to gain meaningful, practical experience to apply. Harvest is demanding, we work long hours and move quickly, but in return, we aim to provide a well-rounded and immersive winemaking education.

As a small winery, you will work directly with the winemaker and be involved in every stage of the process from grape to barrel. This is a highly hands-on role with exposure to small-lot fermentations, fruit from benchmark vineyard sites including Beckstoffer To Kalon, and collaboration with consulting winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown.

About Revana Estate:
Revana produces approximately 3,000 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot at our estate winery in St. Helena. Fruit is predominantly sourced from our estate vineyard, with additional fruit from premier vineyard sites across Napa Valley, including Pritchard Hill, Oakville, Stags Leap District, and Howell Mountain. Our winery is equipped with state-of-the-art processing and analytical tools, offering interns exposure to the techniques and precision required to produce world-class wines.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Grape receiving, sorting, and processing
-Fermentation management (pumpovers, punchdowns, additions, inoculations)
-Pressing, racking, and barrel work
-Winery sanitation and general cellar operations
-Lab work and data tracking
-Vineyard sampling and coordination with the vineyard team
-Participation in tastings and sensory evaluation

Forklift training will be provided prior to harvest.

Compensation & Perks:
-$25/hour + DOE (overtime applicable)
-Harvest lunches provided during peak season
-End-of-season wine allocation

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and strive to create an environment where all individuals are treated with respect and have the opportunity to thrive.

Please submit a cover letter, resume and a little anecdote about the best wine you’ve tried in the past year. We look forward to welcoming you to our 2026 harvest family!
