We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with the RAEN winemaking team for Harvest 2026 in a shared facility with three other wine brands. who will be an active participant in all winery operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of winemaking principles and will approach tasks with enthusiasm and a positive mindset. We offer a fun learning environment providing daily team lunches breaking bread with the entire winery crew.
Our harvest winemaking assistant position tasks include:
Proficiency in sanitation & cleanliness
Grape maturity processing
Fruit sorting and processing
Fermentation and cap management
Transfers and racking
Fermentation monitoring
Draining and pressing
Cleaning, filling, and topping barrels
Grape Sampling
Requirements:
Ability to climb, bend, stand for prolonged lengths of time, and safely lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work extended, flexible work hours across various shifts, including working 7 days per week when necessary
Able to work both collaboratively and independently
Prior harvest experiences preferred
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age by start of internship
Ability to lawfully work in the USA
Harvest Duration (Approximate):
August 15th-End of October/Early/mid November
