Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Residence Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of a private residence. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a pristine and comfortable living environment while demonstrating discretion, professionalism, and respect for the household's privacy. This position will work closely with the Estate Caretaker to ensure the residence is ready for owners’ visits.

Core Responsibilities:
Cleaning Tasks
•  Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish all rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, pool house, and living areas
•  Make beds and change linens according to schedule
•  Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, and sinks
•  Maintain kitchen cleanliness including appliances, countertops, and cabinets
•  Empty trash bins and manage recycling

Deep Cleaning and Maintenance
•  Perform periodic deep cleaning of floors, carpets, upholstery, and curtains
•  Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
•  Polish silverware, furniture, and decorative items
•  Maintain outdoor areas such as patios and entryways as needed

Laundry and wardrobe care
•  Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and household linens
- Follow specific care instructions for delicate fabrics
•  Coordinate dry cleaning drop-offs and pick ups

Household Support
•  Monitor and report household supply levels
- Organize supplies
•  Assist with meal preparation and service as needed
- Grocery shopping
•  Set up flower arrangements
•  Coordinate with other household staff when applicable

Qualifications
Required
•  Minimum 5-years of experience of professional housekeeping experience – private residence preferred
•  Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products for various surfaces
•  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•  Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day
•  Valid CA driver's license
•  Fluency in English
•  Basic cooking skills

Schedule and Compensation
•  Part-time position – hours will vary depending on owners’ schedules and needs
•  Weekend and evening work may be required
•  Compensation is $25/hour - $35/hour depending on experience
