Elusa Winery is looking for a highly motivated intern who is physically capable and has the capacity to work long hours. This position will work alongside the winemaker and will be a great learning opportunity. Elusa produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from both estate and purchased grapes.

Duties include, but aren't limited to:
-Equipment sanitization
-Grape processing via optical sorter
-Pumpovers
-Fermentation additions (nutrients, yeast)
-Pressing
-Prepping and filling barrels
-Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning
-Monitoring fermentation brix and temp

Qualifications:
-At least one season of winery work
-Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed
-A passion to learn about wine production
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be punctual and able to work in a fast paced environment
-A positive attitude
-Must be capable of walking, climbing a ladder and stairs, as well as being able to bend down and crawl under things in order to clean.
