Shadybrook Estate Winery is a family owned, boutique winery located in the heart of the Napa Valley that continues to gain recognition and was recently voted Best Boutique Winery in Napa!

We are currently recruiting for a Wine Club & E-Commerce Manager who will be responsible for the overall direction of the Wine Club and e-commerce initiatives through direct-to-consumer sales channels. Specific focus on telephone sales, retention of Wine Club members, budgets, wine club schedule, fulfillment and inventory, club member events, incentives, and member services. Understands brand marketing and how it relates to direct-to-consumer. This person will also play an active role in helping develop the new programming for the launch of our CAVE Series wines and exclusive allocation program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•  Develops, maintains, and executes a robust annual marketing calendar for all Wine Club and E-Commerce activities.
•  Manage Website e-commerce store to maintain product offerings, release items, and logistics to continue to grow online sales.
•  Executes wine club runs and associated preparation including wine movement for fulfillment.
•  Develop and execute cross-channel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy to optimize all member touchpoints and interactions with the winery.
•  Analyze purchase trends – understand RFM and ROI contribution to better leverage top performing customers and improve the ROI of those with untapped potential.
•  Maximizes sales opportunities with coordinated shipment schedule with outbound and inbound sales calls.
•  Lead team in performing outbound sales and proactively upselling to existing members.
•  Responsible for wine club schedule, membership growth, database management, member sign-up incentive tracking, and financials.
•  Delivers sales results and meets Wine Club and e-commerce sales and budget goals.
•  Creates and maintains Wine Club and e-commerce budgets and business plan, including sales projections, expenses, and invoice review.
•  Calculates monthly signup goals for hospitality dept. and motivates team to achieve goals.
•  Reports monthly Wine Club and e-commerce metrics to upper management.
•  Develops and produces Wine Club mailings and newsletters.
•  Manages customer retention and loyalty programs. Research and understand the members and seek out ways to assist in the development and implementation of member
recognition programs to lengthen wine club tenure and minimize attrition.
•  Develops, plans, and executes special events for the Wine Club (working with the Events Manager and Hospitality Team).
•  Answer and respond to customer inquiries via telephone or written correspondence in a timely manner, upselling wherever appropriate and be available to work in the tasting room to build customer relationships with active and prospective members.
•  On-going review of systems and methods used to optimize business efficiencies.
•  Stays current with the out-of-state direct shipping requirements and works with the CAO to renew shipping permits, licenses, etc. as needed.
•  Responsible for establishing shipping rates for all consumer direct channels and ensuring those rates are always accurate and up to date.
•  Works with fulfillment vendor to ensure accurate inventory controls, pricing and customer service are met.
•  Educate tasting room staff on Wine Club and e-commerce offers, shipping regulations and costs.
•  Support hosting hospitality member areas as scheduled/needed.
•  Maintains knowledge of inventory levels of all DTC SKUs and works with the GM to FORECAST long-term production targets. Able to craft inventory plans that cater to the dynamic nature of DTC sales, ensuring enough stock for immediate orders while anticipating future demand for specific wines.
•  Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of Shadybrook Estate and its wines.
•  Special projects and other responsibilities as required.
•  In conjunction with the management team, participates in establishing and supporting Winery policies and procedures.
•  Fully supports the Winery’s commitment to established Safety practices and policies to safeguard employee safety, company property and environmental considerations.
•  Responsible for compliance with Winery’s sustainability policies and practices which are economically viable, socially acceptable, and environmentally sound and support conservation, energy efficiency and recycling.
Requirements:
•  BA in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•  5 years of previous related experience in the wine industry including sales and customer service.
•  2 to 3 years of management experience
•  Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
•  Passionate about sales and customer relationship marketing.
•  Highly accurate, organized and detail-oriented, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
•  Strong leadership and customer service skills.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
•  Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; prior experience with database management systems and POS; Web-savvy
•  Broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex customer service issues.
•  Ability to work weekends and holidays as well as flexibility in scheduling to ensure business-staffing needs are met.
