Harvest Cellar Worker - Seasonal

Job Description:
Antinori Napa Valley is an Antinori Family Estate located in the beautiful Atlas Peak Appellation. The estate is planted with 550 acres of vines of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay along with smaller blocks of Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, and other Bordeaux varieties. We strive to make the highest quality wines in the Napa Valley using only grapes grown off our Estate vineyards surrounding the winery.

This year, we are searching for skilled harvest workers to assist and work with our cellar crew in all aspects of harvest operations. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard workers who enjoy working in a team environment.
Duties will include (but will not be limited to):
•  Grape processing including crushing and pressing
o Empty and clean bins
o Monitor/operate press and destemmer
o Operate a forklift
o Operate a dump truck
•  Pumpovers and Punchdowns
o Closely read and follow work order instructions on pumpover and puchdown operations.
o Make additions to tanks including yeast, and nutrients.
o Rack/transfer juice and wine from tank to tank or tank to barrel.
•  Perform General Barrel Operations
o Topping and barrel filling
o Cleaning and maintaining empty barrels
o Keeping inventory of full, empty, and incoming new barrels
•  Maintain a Clean and Safe working environment
o Clean and sanitize tanks and equipment before and after use
o Monitor cellar supplies
o Participate in all safety presentations and trainings.
•  Work as a team player helping in whatever capacity is needed
Qualifications
•  All applicants must be eligible to work in California.
•  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and be able to bend and lift as required.
•  Must be able to perform physical work for long hours (10-12 hours a day) while maintaining a positive attitude and staying on task.
•  Previous harvest experience is preferred but not a requirement and site-specific training will be required for all applicants.
•  Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Basic English.
•  Start date is to be determined but will likely be early to middle of August and typically extends through mid-November.
•  Schedule will be 6 days a week while receiving grapes and a 10–12-hour workdays as needed. Hours will decrease down to 8-hour days, 5 days a week as the season slows down.
