We are a premium boutique winery and custom crush facility located in St. Helena, CA, producing world class wines from some of the most storied vineyards in Napa Valley and Sonoma County. We are seeking interns to join our cellar team for the 2024 harvest.

We are looking for people who love wine and are passionate about being a part of the complex and exciting harvest season. Prior harvest or production experience is fantastic; however, experience is not required to join the harvest team as we are happy to provide training and guidance every step of the way.

Ideal candidates will enjoy being part of a team and will have the desire to take on a variety of roles during the harvest season. The ability to read and follow detailed directions is a must and we are seeking candidates who will take personal pride in their contribution towards producing wines of the utmost quality.

Employment will begin in mid-August and will continue into November, though we do have some flexibility with regards to the start date and end dates. Hours will begin as Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm and expect expanded hours and a 6 day a week schedule as the harvest picks up. If you are looking for the opportunity to work with many wine varietals, and to learn from many extremely talented consulting winemakers this is the harvest experience for you.

The harvest internship role involves a wide variety of tasks such as (but not limited to):

•  Assist in receiving and processing fruit, sorting, pressing, etc.
•  Sanitation of winery & equipment
•  Make additions to juice, must, & wine
•  Perform punch-downs & pump-overs
•  Juice racking, and wine movements from tank to tank
•  Barrel filling, topping, stirring, and racking
•  Monitor fermentations
•  Remove pomace from tanks & presses
•  Record data and complete work orders
•  Drain and Press Tanks and bins

Qualifications:

•  English literacy required
•  Good reading, writing and math skills
•  Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
•  Ability to bend, squat and lift 50 lbs.
•  Ability to work flexible hours six days/week
•  Have reliable transportation and report to work on-time

- Pay will vary depending on experience from $21-$25 per hour.
