Heath Family Brands is looking for SALES DRIVEN WINE STEWARDS! This is a commission-based sales position with a base hourly rate and multiple individual and team sales bonuses.
As a Heath Family Brands Wine Steward, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable experience for our patrons. Our Wine Stewards showcase the extensive portfolio of our wines, including Grape Creek Vineyards, Heath Sparkling Wines, JenBlossom Cellars, and Invention Vineyards. Your passion for wine, sales, and excellent customer service skills will contribute to the overall success of our establishment!

With 60 acres of lush vineyards, six award-winning wine collections, five tasting rooms, two production facilities and a full-service restaurant, Heath Family Brands has become known for its quality, innovation, and excellence in the wine industry. A true oasis for wine explorers, Heath Family Brands offers everything one might desire when visiting Texas Wine Country. Tours of the barrel and tank rooms at Grape Creek or Invention Vineyards. Tasting the Heath Sparkling Wine collection in Texas’ first winery dedicated to the art of sparkling winemaking. Enjoying the views of the expansive vineyards at any of our vineyard estates. Or indulging in the vineyard-dining experience offered at Stout’s at Grape Creek. Whichever location you find yourself, you’ll enjoy the luxury experience of Heath Family Brands.

Our self-motivated and sales focused servers at Heath Family Brands enjoy competitive compensation, with an average cash compensation exceeding $35 per hour, with most full-time servers earning $40+ per hour. With a standard 40-hour workweek, this translates to an annual income ranging from $70,000 to $80,000+, plus we offer an extensive set of financial contributions to employee benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Assist guests in selecting wines based on their preferences and our menu choices.
•  Provide wine recommendations and educate guests about different varietals, wine clubs, and food pairings.
•  Pour and serve wine with precision and elegance.
•  Maintain a well-organized service space and ensure proper storage conditions.
•  Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
•  Take wine orders accurately and efficiently.
•  Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
•  Research customer profile to help optimize tasting experience.
•  Present wine lists and describe HFB wines.
•  Open and decant wine bottles as needed.
•  Handle wine glasses and stemware with care.
•  Assist with table setup and arrangement.
•  Set up and break down dining areas.
•  Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dining room.
•  Collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional service.
•  Uphold our high standards of hospitality.

REQUIREMENTS

•  Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs.
•  Stand for extended periods of time.
•  Able to work in an indoor and outdoor setting through all seasons.
•  A passion for customer service, with a dedication to going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
•  The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, all while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
