Job Description:

Tyler Winery, located in the acclaimed Santa Rita Hills AVA within Santa Barbara County, is currently accepting applications for harvest interns to join our team for the upcoming 2023 vintage. No previous winery experience is required, though an ideal candidate would have worked 1-2 previous vintages. At Tyler, you will work alongside owner-winemaker Justin Willett and his team in all aspects of the harvest and winemaking process. While the vast majority of our focus is with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we also work with a number of other varieties from the Loire, Rhone, and Bordeaux. The days can be long, but also rewarding and fun. Overtime, 6-7 day work weeks, and physically demanding work are to be expected. You’ll learn a lot, and gain exposure to our wines and those made around the world; all within an open and engaging environment, designed to help you strengthen your skillset and deepen your knowledge of wine. This is a paid harvest internship/seasonal position from approximately August 15th – November, depending on the timing of harvest.

Tyler is able to sponsor J-1 visas for international applicants. Important to note that while there may be an opportunity for housing, applicants should anticipate needing to secure their own housing, and transportation to and from the winery. Lunch is provided daily at the winery, as well as a stocked refrigerator full of snacks.
