What We're Looking For
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and sales-driven hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. While some days in the tasting room are lively and fast-paced, others are slower, allowing for deeper engagement with guests. You enjoy sharing your passion for wine, making personal connections, and creating memorable experiences—whether through in-person tastings, private events, or telesales. Adaptability and teamwork are key, as responsibilities may shift between hosting guests, supporting events, and driving outreach eff orts. Key Responsibilities
Tasting Room & Private Tastings:
- Provide engaging and educational wine tastings that highlight our wines and story.
- Drive wine sales and wine club sign-ups through personalized recommendations and relationship-building.
- Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming presence while keeping the tasting room clean and organized.
- Confidently execute tasting room and private booking appointments independently, handling everything from set-up and hosting to closing procedures.
- Adapt to diff erent hospitality settings, including private tastings and off site events.
- Host high-touch private experiences sharing the Ty Caton story for wine club members and new visitors
- Conduct engaging, and memorable wine tastings at the Kenwood tasting room and private tastings at the winemaker's estate.
Telesales & Customer Outreach:
- Proactively reach out to past visitors, wine club members, and new leads to build relationships and drive sales.
- Conduct personalized follow-ups to enhance customer engagement and retention.
- Utilize CRM and sales tools to track interactions and achieve sales goals.
- Represent the winery at off -site events and outreach opportunities such as hotel pourings, in-home tastings, and various industry events.
Team Collaboration & Adaptability:
- Assist with various responsibilities, from hosting guests to supporting events and telesales eff orts.
- Work independently while also contributing to a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
- Take initiative and bring fresh ideas to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong sales ability with confi dence, charisma, and a natural talent for connecting with people.
- Passion for wine and hospitality, with a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and guest dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills and an engaging personality.
- Comfortable working independently at multiple locations and shifting between responsibilities.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 40 lbs.
