About the Role
The Marketing Associate plays a vital role in crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies that directly support the growth and continued success of Trattore Farms & Winery. This position focuses on driving robust Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales, expanding our eCommerce presence, growing wine club memberships, and enhancing brand recognition. By leveraging both digital and traditional marketing channels, the Marketing Associate will unify our brand voice, deliver compelling content, and help strengthen customer relationships that last a lifetime.
Responsibilities & Duties
Email Marketing & Communications
• Create and distribute weekly newsletters (MailChimp), including specials, events, and team updates.
• Draft and edit engaging content that connects customers with our vineyard, winery, and olive oil activities.
Marketing Calendar Management
• Maintain and update the annual marketing calendar.
• Meet weekly with the General Manager to review upcoming events, sales campaigns, and projects.
• Review and communicate the monthly grid with leadership and tasting room staff.
Online Sales & Digital Engagement
• Set up and manage online sales in Commerce 7.
• Create and send promotional email blasts, track conversions, and follow up on abandoned shopping carts.
• Maintain and update website content (Commerce 7/WordPress), including minor changes, banners, and event pages.
• Manage online store listings, including adding new products, creating tech sheets, coordinating bottle shots, and populating Commerce7.
Creative Development
• Design marketing collateral such as fliers, posters, menus, and banners.
• Collaborate with team members on graphics and event promotions.
Social Media & Online Reputation
• Post regularly across social media platforms to promote brand awareness and engagement.
• Manage online reputation, including Google Business profile updates and customer feedback.
Event Marketing
• Create graphics for the website and coordinate with the GM to add events to TOCK.
• Develop functioning web links and promotional content for events.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer digital marketing.
• Wine industry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with MailChimp, WordPress, Commerce 7, TOCK.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to anticipate needs.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
