Director of Hospitality Marketing and Business Development – Francis Ford Coppola Presents & The Family Coppola Hideaways
Summary: The Director of Hospitality Marketing and Business Development will develop, guide, and oversee all sales, marketing, public relations, promotions, revenue/reservations management, partnerships and distribution channels to achieve success relative to local competition and to the budgeted annual goals of each hideaway pre and post opening. This person will identify, implement, and maintain cross promotion opportunities between hideaways, Family Coppola wineries, and other Family Coppola businesses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing (60%)
Oversee sales, marketing, public relations, and revenue management while continuing to develop and preserve the reputation of the brands of The Family Coppola, focusing primarily on The Family Coppola Hideaways.
Write and lead the execution of all marketing strategic plans including establishing key services to reflect unique concept and positioning of each hotel (plus where applicable restaurants and other revenue outlets) inclusive of brand identity, collateral, all guest touch-points, direct email marketing, public relations and proprietary websites, opening events and local community relations.
Lead all marketing strategies and tactics for hideaway/hotel openings.
Develop public relations strategy in concert with PR and increase PR exposure, impressions, website traffic and ultimately bookings driven by editorial coverage on all media outlets – social, print, digital, tv and streaming services.
Develop new markets and sources of business, creating pre-opening and opening budget and comprehensive business plan for each new hideaway/hotel.
Collaborate on creating the brand ensuring it is compelling and competitively advantaged in the marketplace while ensuring owner’s vision for the guest experience is preserved.
Ensure strategies are implemented to cross promote each hideaway within The Family Coppola brand and cross promote as appropriate with other Family Coppola businesses including Inglenook, Zoetrope All Story, etc.
Identify and attend best key tradeshows/sales trips/industry events ensuring timely and creative follow-up.
Responsible for websites for each hideaway and umbrella brand plus on-line brand presence accuracy of facts and reputation on third party sites.
Implement and maintain digital marketing strategy inclusive of paid ads, social media, SEO, email marketing and general advertising; Oversee healthy development and integrity of consumer database and all communications to the consumer database.
Responsible for guest communication strategy/style for the complete customer journey from inquiry through booking, stay and check out follow up communications.
Oversee all development, implementation and maintenance of brand materials.
Operations (25%)
Recommend new and proven ways to bring in additional revenues from new markets, new partnerships, evolving strategies in real time.
Develop annual room revenue goals and supporting sales and marketing goals with detailed expense budgets, developing and tracking success metrics.
Ensure a thorough distribution strategy is in place for revenue success.
Management (15%)
Train, mentor, and oversee marketing employees, creating measurable goals that increase profitability and brand reputation; Ensure consistent communications and awareness of priorities to contribute to each of the hideaways meeting or exceeding budgeted annual revenue goals.
Continually develop and implement strategies to address market dynamics.
