POSITION OVERVIEW
The Tasting Room Associate is responsible for being a part of a welcoming atmosphere in the Ricochet Wine Bar, introducing guests to the Ricochet brand, and operating a wine bar that included tenant wineries products. This role also helps to manage on-site and off-site events, representing the brand when necessary. The Tasting Room Associate also assists with the management of the Social Club (our wine club), planning seasonal releases, and growing the wine club through tasting room interactions. This role combines guest service, wine education, and event operations to create memorable experiences that reflect Ricochet’s welcoming and community-focused brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome and engage guests with warmth and professionalism.
Educate visitors on Ricochet wines, philosophy, and tenant wineries.
Handle sales transactions and maintain a clean, inviting atmosphere.
Grow and retain Social Club memberships through authentic engagement.
Collaborate with the winemaker on release planning and member experiences.
Oversee inventory for direct sales and support production needs.
Act as primary point of contact during business hours.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
QUALITIFCATIONS AND SKILLS
Previous hospitality, tasting room, wine service, or event experience preferred.
Familiarity with Square POS, Vinoshipper, and Tock a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Passion for wine, hospitality, and storytelling.
Willingness to learn; curiosity and creativity are highly valued.
Reliable, flexible availability (weekends/evenings required).
Able to work independently and handle physical tasks (e.g. lift 50 lbs; stand long periods).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$18+/hour, plus tips (DOE).
